SUMMARY- This book is a reproduction of the 1952 book that came from Australia, written by Norma Benporath, with revisions and a baby bonnet pattern added by Barbara Foster(for needle tatters). This book was meant as an introductory book for beginners. Patterns are written but a little different from standard. All photos are black-and-white, and often too small to see the detail necessary for the photo to be helpful in figuring out the pattern if there are questions. It has a really nice variety of patterns and the needle tatting instructions are a great additional bonus. I don't have a copy of the original book - was thankful to Ms. Foster for bringing it back into circulation!
