SUMMARY- Volume 1 of a series of books covers a wide range of fiber arts including embroidery, crochet, knitting, macrame and sewing. The lessons are done in short 2-3 page sections and cycle through the various disciplines several times. There are twelve(12) in Volume 1, and they consist of brief basic tutorials for shuttle tatting, a series of very simple traditional edgings, and a few medallions. Volume 6 is more of the same, but with only one tatting section of four pages - two of which are full color plates of the two round medallions given as projects. I only have volumes 1 and 6, and while they have matching cover art, they are dramatically different in dimension.
