SUMMARY- Yes, this book has one theme motif - teapots and their set accoutrements! I can imagine decorating a tray cloth with these motifs and inviting my friends over for afternoon tea just to show them off! The Maltese two-color set especially impressed me, but the Celtic Teapot also incited my envy. Ms. Ess is an amazing designer, no matter what theme she chooses, and I highly recommend her books.
Her patterns are diagrammed and her written instructions are really well broken down and easy to follow. She does use advanced techniques so this isn't a book for beginners, but definitely something to aspire to!
