SUMMARY- I'm a really big fan of Ms. Ess's block tatted animal motifs as well, and can confidently recommend any of her books - I've loved them all. She never disappoints! In this book, she uses shirt buttons as a design element and pulls it off spectacularly well. I highly recommend her books.
Patterns are diagrammed, and instructions are well broken down and easy to follow. She does incorporate many advanced techniques, so I don't recommend her books for beginners, but they are definitely worth aspiring to!
