SUMMARY- I ran across this booklet as part of a small lot that had one of the Tina Frauberger books in great condition. I thought, looking at the picture of this lot, that this was only a partial book with the covers lost. The only reference I could find that I could read was in the Cornell University library system. It apparently had two more booklets as part of the series, and the cover is what you see to the left of this review. It's not the first peahen cover I've run across, but it is rare not to show off the beautiful work that can be done with tatting on the cover. From the illustrations, it appears to teach the slip'n slide method of tatting. Illustrations are sparse until you get to the black-and-white glossy photos in the back of the booklet - so if you can read Dutch, you will have to flip back and forth from text to pictures as you read instructions. Not ideal, but probably done for the practicalities of cost effective printing. I still find it an interesting find because of the time period and geographic area it was published.

In the plates in the back, it is mostly traditional work, with mignonette and zigzag stitch adding some pizzazz to a few of the pieces.
