ANGELINE CRICHLOW (1910 - 1997)Angeline Crichlow was a 4th generation tatter who learned her craft at the early age of 8 years old. She grew up on a ranch in Arizona, went on to become a teacher after completing her education, then married an aeronautical engineer and began her own family. She began her ambition of teaching tatting to everyone who had an interest in 1976 as part of the bicentennial celebration, and went on to author ten books on the subject, taught hundreds of new tatters, and inspired current pillars of our community with her love of the craft. |
