Title: Tatted Oval Brooches
SUMMARY- This is in a different format than her other three books. Photos are in color to show off the flowers added to the completed brooch. She published a book of 3D tatted flowers shortly after the publication of this book, and there are some of her oval brooches on the cover of that book, so this book feels like a companion piece to the larger book. She doesn't state this is the case - there is no introduction. She gets straight to business. You get a photo of the finished sample before and after it is decorated. The instructions are for 10 different motifs that encapsulate a large 30mm by 40mm oval cabochon. All the samples were done in white size 40 thread. You can see from the four samples on the cover that they are quite attractive and well done. She does not give diagrams, and her instructions are in written notation - not foreign language friendly - but the instructions are broken down so they are easier to read. Over-all, I was pleased with my purchase, and the price was certainly right. I enjoyed this book and look forward to seeing what she does next!
