SUMMARY- There's no good way to list the table of contents - there are so many alphabetically listed entries, I'd be days getting them entered. Chapters are broken down by alphabet. One of my guild members scored this set, and allowed me to take them home to look at and review(Thank you, Gretchen!) The tatting chapter is fourteen pages. It is a fascinating read if you're interested in the history and evolution of tatting, but it doesn't have a lot to offer someone just looking for a pattern book. The patterns are relatively simple traditional tatting. You may want to have this two volume set on your shelves anyway - they cover an enormous amount of territory in almost 700 pages. It could lead to many hours of browsing through its entries.
