SUMMARY- The four page beginner's lesson on tatting in the front of the first book has been cut down to one page. You get: 3 simple but elegant edgings(one with onion rings), 3 Medallions(all with onion rings), 3 more sophisticated edgings(one with onion rings), an ovalish doily with sprays of leaves coming off the oval, two more edgings, three collars, a pair of gloves, a lemonade set of two different size linen center doilies, a square linen center doily with exagerated corners, a centerpiece with linen center, round placemats with linen centers, a set of table doilies with linen centers, a large and a small square motifs for larger mats, 2 chair sets, a round motif for a vanity set, a babies bonnet, and one last round medallion - a lot of patterns are packed into this 32 page booklet. Some look familiar to me, some do not. It is written in Italian, and there are no diagrams, so you'll either have to run the directions through a translator and cross your fingers, or make a friend who reads Italian translate it for you. Still a lot of eye candy here, in good black-and-white photographs on gloss paper throughout.
