SUMMARY- I'm always looking for the perfect set of illustrations and instructions to give out to new tatters. These were so-so. This edition was half the physical size of the original 1941 booklet but with 17 extra pages. There are fewer patterns overall. Written notation in big blocks of text was the standard of the time - harder to read. It is effectively the same as books "B" and "C", just a new cover and a minor updating of the patterns for the fashions of the time.
