SUMMARY- This book is for crocheters, and is entirely tiling motifs. I haven't seen a first printing of this booklet yet, so I don't know if this copy has all the patterns the first edition had. At this point, my guess is that it does not. My copy doesn't say it isn't a first printing but there are two clues that give it away: 1) The ads for books on the inside back cover are largely for books that were published long after this booklet made its debut, and 2) By this point, The Spool Cotton Company had begun cataloging their patterns and printing that catalog number in their publications. You can see by the Table of Contents that there are gaps in the numbering. That's a likely indication that patterns were not reprinted in later editions - especially since they shuffled the patterns around to disguise that fact. I put them in numerical order, not the order in which they appear in the book, to illustrate my point.
