SUMMARY- You get one token tatting pattern, then a small handful of crochet patterns. The tatting instructions are in written notation of the time period, with no diagram and the photo is designed to show off the design, not to do double duty as a diagram. You should already be comfortable with basic tatting before tackling this one. One third of each mat(the middle) is linen, with a very wide edge on either side to complete the mat. It's a very simple but effective design, with a very lacy look to it.
