SUMMARY- You get a fantastic variety of garden-themed patterns that would look handsome on just about anything. Debbie provides both written symbolic notation and color-coded diagrams, so even if you don't read English, you can make these motifs. I was particularly enchanted with the Ear of Corn, which has the option of adding a curled ring corn worm. That sort of humor and detail makes me smile. She doesn't shy away from incorporating some advanced techniques and you absolutely have to know how to do a split ring. She does use beads in a few of the patterns. This is a solid book with a great variety of motifs to choose from - well worth having in your tatting library to draw from. I was very happy to add this to my library!

The tutorials she includes are: Lock Join, Slope and Roll Join, Catherine Wheel Join, Alligator Join, Beaded Picot and Beads on Core Thread, Single Shuttle Split Ring(open ring method)
