SUMMARY- Humm, keep in mind that while I am a very experienced seamstress, I am a relative novice at quilting. That said, with all of Ms. Wright's extensive experience, I was expecting a whole lot more than I got from this book. There wasn't a lot "beyond" the basics except for the Circle Nine setting, which she covered much more extensively and better in her books with her sister Janet. You get a nice assortment of basic settings and sashings for traditional quilt blocks none of which really popped for me. Your mileage may, absolutely, vary.
