SUMMARY- The Garden Club Quilt is a collage of different shaped and sized blocks that is a complex blend of piecework and applique. It is an ambitious project that I believe anyone would be really proud to show off. I really wish they'd made the cover the picture of it they have on page 61. The cover doesn't do it justice. The smaller wallhanging that comprise the rest of the book often reuse a motif from a section of the Garden Club Quilt, giving you double duty and ways to tie other room decor to the quilt on your bed. This is the second book of theirs I've run across and I can say with certainty that the first one I bought wasn't a fluke. This is a design team that gives you a lot for your money. If you like the style you see on the cover, definitely track this book down - you won't be disappointed.
