SUMMARY- This book provides some excellent tutorials - yes, there is a learning curve to doing tangrams. And they weren't euphemizing the 1,600 puzzles - you really do get that many. The silhouettes in most books will have a name, but none are provided in this book. There are a lot of shapes that defy labeling, and those don't appeal to me as much - and they are also a whole lot harder! So there is something here for everyone, from beginner to experienced. This kit's tans are made of lightweight plastic about 1/8" thick, so they're easier to pick up than most of the tans I've worked with.
