SUMMARY- Overall an interesting book that does a good job of introducing you to many of the elements that go into making a quilt. I have only one complaint - the book is in black and white except for eight pages near the center of the book with some eye candy. Color and texture are so much a part of quilt-making - and you can't convey texture in a book. I think it noticeably hurts the book, and that's a shame. I found it an interesting read.
