SUMMARY- There are 16 applique blocks in this book. This book wasn't originally part of mom's collection. I picked it up used because I liked the designs. Mom preferred strip quilting - she hated hand work(so much so that I had to finish the binding on my own Christmas presents!). I never minded. My mom's quilts were always special. I've always told my husband that if the house burns down, he'd better be on the other end of the quilt trunk as we exit the house. But I'm supposed to be telling you about this book. It's hard to see the details in the cover scan, but there is a great deal of lovely detail in each block, and I thought it was exquisite. I don't even mind the ruffled binding - and I'm not a ruffle fan. If you're looking for album quilt blocks, I think this is a good find. The patterns appear to be full-size, and come on a folded pull-out sheet.
