SUMMARY- This book made me want to try applique. If you knew me you'd know what an astonishing statement that is. But I just got done drooling over an applique pattern of snowmen having a snowball fight on the side of a tote and then here's this book laying it all out painlessly how to go about it by several different methods, some of which don't require me to sit down with a sewing needle sans sewing machine. This is a really lovely and useful book packed full of practical tips and so many different approaches to this particular art form. I've listed the chapter writers and the quiltmakers below in case you're trying to find the work of particular artists. If you are a beginner like me, I would definitely recommend this book. If you already have a few methods of applique under your belt, I'd STILL recommend this book because there are at least a few more you probably haven't tried.
