SUMMARY- I love that Rodale's books don't ignore the quilting and often include patterns for it along with the patchwork and applique patterns. You get your usual level of excellence here, with instructions that were easy to read and well broken down. There was one project in particular that really grabbed me - Kathy Berschneider's Holiday Gift Bags(the one with the snowmen throwing snowballs at each other!). I can easily see why mom collected the Rodale books. So far I've reviewed four of them, and they've all jazzed me in some way - even the ones I didn't expect to, like this one.
