SUMMARY- Betty Alvarez's "My Stars!...They're Plaid!" is hands down my favorite - no suprise at all that's what they chose to lead with. It doesn't hurt that the name of the quilt immediately broke me up. It was just fortunate timing I wasn't in the middle of sipping my tea when I read it. You get a gamut of stars and skill levels for making them in this book. If you have a fondness for stars, I'd definitely track down a copy of this one. "My Stars!...They're Plaid!" alone is worth the price of admission...
