SUMMARY- This is a potpourri of redwork quilting designs that the author has collected into one book. There are 43 botanicals, 40 animals, 13 people and 9 miscellaneous. Designs would need to be traced with the help of a light box. I got this book as part of a small lot of redwork books, and was curious what it was "No. 9" of - turns out 1-8 are also redwork books, and they all came out between 1997 and 2001. Most there are only one or two copies available on the used market, and about 1/3 were not available at all, so I would count these as rare. If you are late the game like I am, and redwork is your passion, I'd start looking for these now, because it is only going to get harder to find them, not easier. This one, at least, is not original designs, but vintage artwork that the author has collected - sometimes from quilts that were never quite finished.
