SUMMARY- If you want to experiment with trapunto, get this book. It was written during the renaissance of fiber artistry, where everyone was trying out different materials and techniques and seeing where they would take you. This book is a product of that time period, and it's awesome. There aren't many patterns in this book, but there are a ton of examples shown from 1400ad up. While there were a few of the pieces I would have loved to see in color(you know what color they are from the caption descriptions), I don't think the black-and-white photography throughout detracts. The tutorials are thorough, if a bit dated, but they get the job done beautifully. I was really happy I picked this one up.
