SUMMARY- I love this series - you get a gorgeous array of quilts in each year's issue, many with the patterns included, plus a gallery of art quilts just so you can see who's an amazing artist. There's a lot of inspiration to be had here, and as of this writing(March 2022), you can often find these on the second-hand market for less than $5/each. I've also seen quite a few of them available on www.PaperbackSwap.com
While filling in my mom's set of this book, I noticed two things. The titling on the cover is slightly different between the hardcover edition and the softcover edition. The corresponding hardcover edition for this one says "Great American Quilts 1995". The second thing is that buying these used, I found very little difference in price between the hardcover edition and the softcover - so I highly recommend going for the hardcovers, as they hold up much better.
