SUMMARY- I really love this series of books, and am happy I've been finding so many of them on www.paperbackswap.com to help fill in mom's collection. There's so much inspiration and ideas(and patterns!) offered here - something for everyone. I highly recommend them. They focused more on applique in this volume.

This is the first year they started publishing a softcover edition with a slightly different title, "Leisure Arts Presents: Great American Quilts". They ommitted "Book One", but numbered the softcover editions for all the subsequent years up through 2004.
