SUMMARY- I really love this series of books, and am happy I've been finding so many of them on www.paperbackswap.com to help fill in mom's collection. There's so much inspiration and ideas(and patterns!) offered here - something for everyone. I highly recommend them.
While filling in my mom's set of this book, I noticed two things. The titling on the cover is slightly different between the hardcover edition and the softcover edition. The corresponding hardcover edition for this one says "Great American Quilts 2000". The second thing is that buying these used, I found very little difference in price between the hardcover edition and the softcover - so I highly recommend going for the hardcovers, as they hold up much better.
