SUMMARY- I got very absorbed in reading about the old quilts and how it came about they got replicated. I had read the names of the patterns when I typed in the Table of Contents and had thought to myself "this is going to be a boring rehash of a handful of classics" - I was so very wrong. Yes, you'll recognize some of the patterns, even if you're relatively new to quilting - but not all of them, and the stories that come with them make this book a treasure.
