SUMMARY- I admit to a pre-bias before I opened this up to start reading - log cabin is my favorite patchwork block and any combination of patchwork and applique spikes all my positive aesthetic meters to "full." Honest I tried to find something to complain about, and I couldn't find a single thing. The projects rock, of course, and the instructions are clear and well laid out - I had no trouble at all following along. She gives useful tips in little aside boxes and a couple of them I had never thought to try and thought "Duh! That would work!" Having made thousands of soft toys, and lately pandemic masks in assembly-line fashion, I am a veteran of streamlining my sewing habits to speed up production. And Donna taught me some new tricks. So now I have to go find her other two books...
