SUMMARY- This book harks back to the beginning of the textile arts renaissance that had its roots in the late '60's/early '70's, so I had a good deal of interest in it when I ordered it off of www.paperbackswap.com It was an interesting read. She was a proponent of hand-piecing, on the legitimate observation that you can't carry your sewing machine around with you. Her templates are graphed, and you get a nice variety of traditional patchwork blocks. Overall it's dated - its value lies primarily in its copyright date.
