SUMMARY- This is a charming collection of Sunbonnet Sue blocks. Overall Sam doesn't make a showing. There is a friendship block, but it has a second Sue reversed to hold the heart between them. I think the heart would have to be enlarged a bit before you could write a name(or names) on it. You do get to see Sue being very busy with living throughout these blocks, and I like a more physically active Sue over the static traditional Sue, so this book appealed to me. I'm not sure I'd have had the stones to call it "Ultimate" though. Not when there are equally charming books overflowing with more than 10 times that number. It's still a lovely collection and worth having.
