SUMMARY- This isn't a technique or pattern book. This is a showcase of pictorial quilts and every page is dedicated to a new visual feast. I always end up wishing I could see them in person so I can get my eyeball close enough to see the fine details - I don't think a book can every completely capture the real thing in all its glory. But I'm happy these books get made so I have a better idea of what is floating around out there. The quilt on the cover is called "The Red Housecoat: A Self-Portrait," by Carol Ann Wadley.
