SUMMARY- This was originally published by Bunka Publishing Company in Japan under the title "Origami de tsukuru patchiwaku kiruto patan". She uses small (2 3/4" sq.) sheets of origami paper and colored pencils to create block designs that can then be expanded to any size you want your blocks to be. This is a very interesting technique and I think worth picking up if you are interested in doing unique designs that don't require graph paper. I was especially blown away by the gallery of quilts done by the Japanese quilters near the back of the book. Most of the quilts in that gallery have a three-dimensional look. I do recommend this book.
