SUMMARY- All the projects are applique and designed to be wall quilts. This book wasn't originally in mom's collection - she wasn't a big fan doing applique, though she admired it well enough. It was my grandmother who enjoyed doing the applique, but she stuck to the traditional blocks. These quilts leave plenty of room for individual expression and color choice, but retain a folksy charm.
