SUMMARY- My jaw literally dropped when I saw this one. I rarely buy books new, but this was an exception - I could not have been dragged from that book store without it by 10 strong men. I'm told in such cases, histerical strength can help you lift cars - resisting my usual rules was easy. She goes into the construction of gems very thoroughly - and how to deconstruct them into patterns. The only thing that could have made this book more perfect was the addition of a bibliography - she's getting her photos of gems and their cuts somewhere, after all.
