SUMMARY- I found this book interesting because its primary focus was on applique quilts, instead of patchwork. There may be thousands of books with indepth applique blocks - I'm still trying to figure that out, because they certainly weren't in my mom's personal library of quilting books. I was able to acquire a copy of this book from www.paperbackswap.com (one of my favorite go to's for out of print books). I found the chapters on borders and quilting especially interesting, even if they weren't as long or involved as books dedicated to the subjects. Overall it was a very interesting read, if rather dated now. I'm glad I got a chance to review it.
