SUMMARY- It has a 16 page color gallery of Amish quilts in the middle of the book - otherwise the rest of the book is black-and-white diagrams. She goes over a good selection of favored patterns done by the Amish communities. I found the title a little bit misleading - she does explain what colors are favored and how to use them - but even her color wheel is a black-and-white diagram. Her explanations are clear and easy to follow - all of her diagrams are black-and-white drawings. I still found it an interesting read.
