SUMMARY- Instead of this quilt being entirely patchwork, the rings are pieced, then appliqued to plain blocks. Mom left notes in this one AND the interfacing is missing, so I'm betting she made at least one of these. The premise is clever if you don't like piecing curves, and appears to work well (I can't distinguish their applique double wedding rings from the pieced variety). This book also came with a clear plastic template for the smaller pieces along with the interfacing for the longer arcs of the rings.
