SUMMARY- This is a really lovely and thoughtful hardcover that takes nine classic and common patterns and demonstrates each with four examples of how to use each one. The projects are well laid out, you get color photos of the finished quilts and the diagrams for layout and pretty well broken down instructions for construction. Despite the deceptive simplicity of the classics, you can create a great many effects. The patterns were well chosen and go from Easy to Advanced.
