SUMMARY- This is a delightful book that doesn't really show its core strength on the cover - though the dinosaurs did catch my eye. She uses the center of the pineapple block to use up cute prints that she wants to showcase, or crocheted motifs - or just about anything not bigger than the block - and the rest of the pineapple block to appropriately "frame it". It works rather well, and she offers many suggestions for layouts and alterations to the basic block to accomodate your central theme - or you could just have dinosaurs roaming willy nilly over the whole quilt. It's all good!
