SUMMARY- You get a nice mix of patchwork and applique that complement each other well, and they prove that plaids and stripes can be used to enhance a quilt - even organic shapes like they applique on the cover. I enjoyed this book, and think if you like applique and want to explore that stash of old plaid shirts, this could be very useful to you.
