SUMMARY- There is a huge variety of projects that are all equal parts pieced and applique - and the applique are NOT simple shapes, so not a good beginner's book. But there is a lot to inspire and aspire to in this book. It's hard to see all the amazing detail and appreciate how beautiful these projects are from the teeny pictures on the cover - wish she'd picked on and blown it up so you could get a good look. There are full page color photos of the blocks and completed projects throughout the book(pictures are with the instructions!). It may be a little difficult to get clean photocopies of the templates without breaking the spine of the book because the templates go into the ditch in places. I wouldn't let that stop me - her designs really are gorgeous.
