SUMMARY- Any time someone uses the words "Encyclopedia," "Dictionary," "Compendium," "Complete," and, of course, "Ultimate", I grade on a much tougher scale. It's a big brag to call your work the ultimate of anything, so I expect more. I do think you get some justice here. The Table of Contents didn't fill me with confidence - it usually takes me a couple of hours to type in the ToC of an ultimate book, but I was pleasantly surprised as I settled in to read. She covers all the variations on Log Cabin that I was aware of, with main focus on the more traditional variants. There is a ton of eye candy here - certainly enough to inspire and get your own creative juices flowing. I give this ultimate book on Log Cabin a nod of approval - it was an enjoyable read.
