SUMMARY- She uses pigskin suede - a leather you can find in many beautiful colors. Sewing with suede is different from sewing with cotton fabric, and she goes over the pitfalls pretty well. "Navaho Lightning" is the throw shown on the cover, along with the reverse applique "Black Beauty" pillow and a couple of the Log Cabin pillows. I'm really pleased to have come across this book. It's well off the beaten path and offers some very satisfying end results.
