SUMMARY- When you are buying this book used, make sure that the eight(8) folded pages of transfer grids are still intact. The yardage charts she gives you go from wallhanging marching up to Queen-King sized. I've always found Eleanor Burns' instructions easy to follow - she breaks them down well and gives plenty of illustration to support them. I think the scattered stars on the Log Cabin look marvelous, and it doesn't look hard to do. This wasn't in mom's original library of books, but I do think she would have snagged it if she'd come across it, and loved it. Ms. Burns doesn't reinvent the wheel, but she does make it easier to make one.
