SUMMARY- Yes, I typed in the entire Table of Contents. Yes, apparently I'm a glutton for punishment. You're welcome. I've given you the cover of the edition I have, then the cover for the first edition, 2nd edition, and the CD. There were multiple printings of all of them. When Ms. Brackman first released it in 1979 as an 8-volume set in a 3-ring binder, it must have been a revelation. Yes, there had been other attempts to make a comprehensive catalog of all the traditional patterns and their variants, but not one of them had been this, well, Comprehensive. Are you a knowledgeable quilter who is confident you can recognize most pattern blocks? I'd still want this book on my shelf. Need something to stimulate ideas and pick your next project? Here you go. This isn't just a catalog of blocks - it's an exciting, Organized catalog of quilting blocks. I'm serious about it being a necessary part of your library. There are so many copies of it floating around - pick one and buy it. You won't be sorry. It was included in the QNM's 15th Anniversary Top 100 Quilting Books list for a very good reason.
