SUMMARY- You get twelve floral blocks and pictures of women and their children with snippets of story throughout. It's a charming nostalgic read - at least for me. I spent equal parts of my childhood in Colorado and Kansas, where my grandmother and great grandmother lived, and where my mother grew up in a small town called Anthony. So the flowers have special meaning for me, and these women could easily be ancestors of mine. I still remember my great grandmother's stories of her family coming West - she was born in 1901. The basket pattern is pieced, and all the flower blocks are applique. She gives you several different settings and some feathers for quilting.
