SUMMARY- This is a very basic book with very basic information - fantastic for a beginner or someone who is in a hurry. The unnamed designers are big on rotary cutting instead of templates, just to help speed things up(for me, that means I can make mistakes much faster....). The star sashing looks fabulous for all its simplicity, and the strip-pieced sashing looks sophisticated because of the colorwash the designer employed. I think you get a lot of bang for your buck. I'm just very annoyed that no one was willing to sign their name to it. I am glad it doesn't mean what that usually means - this isn't second rate work. He/she should have put their name on it.
