SUMMARY- Lots of interesting patterns, but the pattern sheets are bound in to this book. The pattern pieces are far enough away from the ditch they should be photocopyable without a problem. She also provides several pages of quilting patterns that are fairly simple and useful. I don't think your quilting pattern library can ever be too big. Mrs Bonesteel is a very popular teacher and has done a long-running tv sewing program. She knows what she's talking about, and she imparts the information enthusiastically and clearly. I don't think you can go wrong picking up any of her books. This one has a lot of traditional blocks to choose from, including a pieced "Sunbonnet Sue" and "Overall Sam" that I hadn't seen before. I particularly liked the sewing machine cover projects.
