SUMMARY- This book is for making a doll's quilt, which the author gives the story of as she presents each color block as related to her by her grandmother. Having grown up on a farm myself, I find this book even more charming and delightful than usual. The author didn't straighten any lines(each of the pictures has a frame that looks freehand drawn) - it looks like she drew the templates by laying paper over the original quilt and traced the images.
