SUMMARY- In 1988, my mom plunked down a stack of books in front of Ms. Beyer, and Ms. Beyer signed each one personally to my mother, with a little note. Clearly my mom loved this designer and her books, and just as clearly, the designer loved her fans. Here's another layer to this designer's talent. Mom bought the book for my grandmother for Christmas, according to the inscription - but I'm betting mom "borrowed" it after a few months...
